  • UNIT 1:
The big lessong from the world's best school system? Trust your teachers
by John Hart -The Guardian- August 2017
The autor of this article describes his experience working in Finland and also, makes a comparison with the education of the United Kingdom from PISA's outstanding results. He defends the education system of Finland because it favors an equitable society and moves away from grammar schools. Also, he states that in Finland, teachers have unlimited flexibility and don't test students, while in the UK they have data managers. In Finland, teachers evaluates students according to their judgment. In order for the Finnish educational system to work, we must trust teachers.

  • UNIT 2:

  • UNIT 3:
The Futuristic classroom

The future class will be fulled of electronic devices such as tablets, computers, etc. In addition, the table will have touch screen. Students will work and learn through these devices, but always with the supervision of a teacher. I would like the ratio of the class to be reduced to fifteen students. In addition, the classroom will have different places to work each of the subjects and a play or rest area. In conclusion, it will be a smart classroom.
  • UNIT 4:
Computer and videogames

A video game for children in the learning process can be Spore. It teaches about natural sciences and consists in evolving a species from a cell until it is able to colonize a galaxy.
Another educational videogame is SimCity that allows to manage a city, but also includes subjects of science, technology, politics, citizenship, mathematics, etc. It consist of six missions in which students can play different roles and learn about problem solving and communication.
  • UNIT 6:
The multilingual classroom

A multilingual classroom is favorable because the students are enriched by the cultural differences of their classmates. Therefore, I would like to point out the importance of multilingualism in schools.

In order to carry out activities of multilingualism and multiculturalism, cultural workshop can be done in schools where all students must participate. In this way, the learning of different cultures is encouraged.

The big lessong from the world's best school system? Trust your teachers by John Hart - The Guardian. August 2017

In this article, the author talks about the outstanding characteristics of Finnish society and also the author shows the ethos with the US. On the one hand, the author explains that some of the reasons why Finnish society works so well is because it is economically balanced. In addition teachers are full of drive, without unfettered and they are highly valued because they are who teach the new generations. On the other hand, in the USA teachers show several weaknesses because many times they can not decide the things the have to do.

In short, the success of Finland is due to the confidence the have when they do things.

  • UNIT 2:

  • UNIT 3:
The Futuristic Classrooms

I wish that the future smart classrooms will be always-on connected spaces with tablets, smartwatches or other gadgets. In addiction the exercises that will be done in class will be able to be seen in the digital screen through a virtual reality and augmented. Finally I hope that in the future all education centre has got Wi-Fi for the students can connected anywhere to the school for they can consulte some doubts.

  • UNIT 4:

In the school to have multilingual classes ca be a great progress in the future because students can have conversations with their peers in different languages. In this way the bullying towards foreing people will end. In addition students can learn the traditions of other cultures. In definitive, I think that all that can be very motivating for the learning of the students.

  • UNIT 1:
The big lessong from the world's best school system? Trust your teachers by John Hart - The guardian, August 2017

In this article, the author descirbes the outstanding features of the Finnish school system. He emp`hatizes the teacher role rather than the reasons . They set up the classes unfettered thinking about the learning of their student where they work their strengts and waknesses. It could not be said that the Finland school system is the best education in the world but it can be observed that it has less child paverty, perhaps due to the education system.

  • UNIT 2:
Websites or Apps to learn Englis for students with Specials Needs.

  • UNIT 3:
The Futuristic Classroom

On the futurist classes, I distinguish two themes. By the one hand I can comment on how I think they will be, and the other hand how I wish they were.

As for how they will be, I think students will always be connected to a school network. Also that the manipulable material will dissappear, reason why the teaching will be developed from the technologies. The students will have a new gauges as a tablets to work on the subjects, and they will have wearables solutions. Although, I would not want everything to be so computerized as a downtime, because the direct relations between students should not be lost. An addiction, although the new technologies include numerous facilities, they do not give the total ensure of an unbeatable learning.

  • UNIT 4:
Computer and videogames

Plants vs zombis is a computer game widely used by primary school children. This game consists of growing different plants and tying to defend them because the mission of zombies is to destroy the crop. It 's a strategy game in wich you have to overcome increasingly difficult levels.

Othes game is Super Mario Bross, this game seems to have been very successful in recent years, since it's creatin in 1985 have been updating until currently is one of the most popular games. The objective of this platform game is to save the princess who had been kidnapped by the bad character, so you have to go overcoming the levels until you can find her.

  • UNIT 6:

The Multilingual Classroom

The multilingual classroom should be non-selective education, because all students must be able to access without problem. In addition, the student achievement in elementary school children that includes multilingual education is more productive because of the many neural connections.

To work on these issues you can make multicultural days where the customs and traditions of differents countries are known every day.

For this explication I have had aid form the web:

  • UNIT 1:
The big lessong form the world's best school system? Trust your teachers
by John Hart - The Guardian, August 2017

In this article, John Hart explains that Finnish education is always in the media because it is highly praised. Finland has a very low wage inequality and the education in Finland is stands out because of the economic homogeneity and the equity in society. Understandably, Finland's should trust on teachers if they want to get the best education.
In this video we can see a " Very Finnish Education"

  • UNIT 3:
The Futuristic Classroom

I think that the future classrooms will be very different from classrooms of now. In the first place, there will be not materials like books or pens, but smart classrooms will be always-on connected with mobile phones, smartwatches or tablets. In the second place, the students will work on different subjetcs as science with a Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality because it's easier to learn. I wish there are many changes because it will be easier to teach!

  • UNIT 1:

The big lessong form the world's best school system? Trust your teachers
by John Hart - The Guardian, August 2017

This article, which is written by John Hart, is about the outstanding impact that are having Finnish Education nowadays. This Education System has created high expectation in other countries  which want to copy the system. Although, this kind of System has sense in Finland, but not in all  countries.

Finland has the lowest wage inequality in the EU, and its population is very homogeneous. But, we find that in Finland they give to the teachers a great deal of responsability and they can be free in their job, unfettered. So,the most important thing that other countries should be copying is give more trust to the teachers, and not copy the School System.

  • UNIT 2:
Websites or Apps to learn English for students with Special Needs

The second App is named I can have conversations with you. This application is directed to students with autism, Asperger's Syndrome or social communication disorder. This app allows that children work with different communicative situations and be able to understand body language or expressions words in real communicative situations that can take place in their own lifes.
In this link you can find some information and download the app: https://www.educationalappstore.com/app/i-can-have-conversations-with-you

  • UNIT 3:
The Futuristic Classroom

I think that in a near future the school will be a space totally connected. But, it worries me because people think that if the classes were more digitalized, the education would become better, and I don't think so. Because, if the teachers continues working with the same traditional methodology, the education will not be able to progress, and we will continue teaching in the same way, but with a lot of technology. So, the futuristic classrooms should use technologies but also give new methodologies that are really suitable to the new context.

  • UNIT 6:
The Multilingual Classroom

In public schools multilingualism will be more present than in charter or private schools, because public schools are open-access. This will be as a result of inmigration which can be caused by different reasons such as parent's work. The children who come must feel valued and integrated, so we must create situations in class where there is a feedback among all students. This can be done by saying characteristics of the different cultures ans languages in class, and in this way, all of them will be put in value.

  • UNIT 1:

The big lessong form the world's best school system? Trust your teachers
by John Hart - The Guardian, August 2017

John Hart, in this article describes the outstanding results of Finland's school system and makes a comparison with the UK education system. The author believes that these good results are due to the equity of society, low wage inequality, and he hemphasizes the role of the teacher. In conclusion, the teachers have complete freedom and flexibility in teaching. Perhaps if in our country teachers were selected in the same way, the educational system would change.

  • UNIT 2:
Websites or Apps to learn Englis for students with Specials Needs

Dyseggxia is a game for mobile phones that helps children with dyslexia overcome their problems of reading and writing in Spanish through fun games. It is divided into three levels, easy, medium and difficult; Each level has five types of exercises: insertion omission, substitution, derivation and Word
separation. DYSEGGXIA

Special Words is an application where children can learn vocabulary with the help of photographs and sounds. Includes 96 pictures and word pairs written and spoken in 26 languages. SPECIAL WORDS

  • UNIT 3:
THE FUTURISTIC CLASSROOM

The classes in the future will be very different from the actuals classes. Not only will the materials change, the methodology will change as well. As for the materials, I think they will disappear both the books and the manipulable materials to give way to the technologies. Students of the future won't carry books, they will carry tablets or some electronic device that will allow them to be connected all day. But, although the technology is very innovative, I think there are materials or units that need manipulative material for better results.

I think the classes of the future will be something like this:

  • UNIT 6:
THE MULTILINGUAL CLASSROOM

In the future, children will be more multilingual than at present due to several causes: there will be more immigration, people will travel more and schools are changing. Focusing on the classes, children aren't currently motivated to learn other languages and that should change. I think they should put more English classes in the classroom and practice speak, which is what costs us the most. All of this could be done with role activities, in groups or using new technologies as a learning tool.
